ART IS NOT AT THE SERVICE OF TASTE; IT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS GROWING MOVEMENT TOWARDS NEW WAYS OF FEELING.

My paintings, made on raw cotton canvas, are a mix of drawing and high-quality acrylic paint, which I personally produced over several months. I aim to contain a space of chaos open to the viewer, where interpretation is what finishes the painting. The process is a dialogue with chance, maintained through a dissociated and silent state of attention, "like when you're looking for a forgotten word." Painting for me is a place of inspiration for other mediums; it's where my writing was born, and where my interest in video emerged.

Exhibition held at the Michelin-starred restaurant RiFF in Valencia, Spain.
First permanent exhibition for sale in Spain.

Exhibition text.

Affective scorn.
1.7m x 1.4m

2550€

“There is a place where the body of enemies is respected and honored once dead, where despite the war, older than evil itself, a truce is admitted when a body crosses the threshold. Faced with this event, all of us, sorrowful children, accept the peace that death imposes.”

·

Mixed media, drawing and handmade artisan acrylic paint on raw cotton canvas.

The work of the scribble lies in the intimate experimentation of the state and the intention focused and attentive to its own changes and needs.
A single calligraphic gesture, finding balance through chaos.

The secret of the clouds.
1.9m x 1.4m

3150€

“ What do the clouds hide ?
Clouds, like painting, scribbles, or life itself, change their meaning depending on who looks at them.
Where she said she saw a rabbit, the child saw a coral landscape.”

·

Mixed media, charcoal and dry pastel drawing and handmade artisan acrylic paint on raw cotton canvas.

The work of the scribble lies in the intimate experimentation of the state and the intention focused and attentive to its own changes and needs.
A single calligraphic gesture, finding balance through chaos.

Scratchy clarity.
1m x 1.4m

2380€

“Do you remember that place where you opened your eyes for the first time ?
-Yes, - She replied. -Everything was blurry and the noise hurt like when you pull your head out of the water with your eyes open. I wish I could have stayed, but a visceral curiosity made me leave. -”

The parrot and the snail.
0.7m x 1m

1800€

“ From an arbitrary stain, a story was born. Two creatures from different worlds met in the eye of the hurricane, leaning on a branch, they watched each other observe. ”

Inert ideology.
1m x 0.8m

2100€

“Tons of words fell upon her face, from all directions and at all hours. At the same volume sounded those shouted by passersby from the other side of the street; at the same volume as those resonating deep inside her head.
-I am like an antenna, she told herself, I capture capture capture without knowing how to change the station.”

Exact Uncertainty.
2m x 1.4m

Price 3100€

“When I saw her being born, her cry moved me, a goose's neck and a wicker skin; when she rose to her feet, the ground collapsed, as if the ground we always believed to be stable was never harder than a poppy leaf, and today, after her birth, it withered.
Her step traced our skin and it was at that very moment that uncertainty was born.”

·

This painting, made with mixed media techniques, is a work primarily created with the intention of using the "scribble" as a space, a line, and colors that evoke a landscape suspended in the void of the raw canvas.

A Test of Stealth.
1.3m x 1.4m

Price 2550€

“The steps were decisive under the strictest care. How do you find the truffle without digging up too much earth? - The scent intoxicated me; its deck of cards smelled of fresh lemon. -”

·

This painting is the result of having let loose an animal which, forced into the cleanest passivity, finds itself in front of the object that emanates the smell that satisfies its urges.
A gesture inhabited by an attentive inertia.

Thirst for Salt.
1.6m x 1.5m

2680€

“The stroke marks a moment, time hides its stroke. I stayed in the rain for a week; the spasms woke me up.”

·

This painting continues to appear in my dreams, a state of euphoria contained in moments of harsh solitude under the grey sky of Brussels.
The explosive stroke holds a childlike delicacy as it finds places of refuge and rest among the rubble.

An Incomplete Tale.
1.2 m x 1 m

2110€
Sold
“Without realizing it, I noticed I had arrived; a blank space illustrated its silence. Each of my steps stained all that neatness. In that moment, I understood that this time I had arrived before the fox, and so I could be the first to play on the snow.”

The painting "An Incomplete Tale" is made with mixed media, from charcoal to acrylic, including dry and oil pastels. An oasis in the desert.
